Prior to founding KNS Solar, I have worked for Anadarko Petroleum and Enbridge as a SCADA project engineer and hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics (Automation) Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University / Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Georgia. With a distinguished career in the Oil and Gas sector, I decided to move into renewable energy and formed KNS Solar to promote solar energy for positive socio-economic change, catalyst sustainability, and environmental initiatives. When I am not busy brightening the world with solar projects or teaching others about solar and battery storage in my workshops and training courses, I love hitting the soccer field for a round of intense play. But, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my wife and two awesome daughters. We enjoy traveling the world, swimming, riding bikes and trying out all the latest tik tok trends with our girls. Life is all about balance, right?

A grandfather to six, under the age of six, Mr. Coffman’s focus has shifted to creating an environment that is livable, sustainable, and greener for future generations to come. The first 25 years of Mr. Coffman’s career was spent working with 200+ school districts, hospitals, municipalities, and corporate clients providing employee benefits and retirement plans. “Seeing first hand the aging infrastructure of client buildings and realizing that 76% of electricity goes to commercial users, I felt compelled to do what I could to reduce their energy use from fossil fuels and help them to start producing their own green, solar power. In addition to the numerous tax incentives and energy savings available, our clients are locking in their energy costs and reducing their carbon footprint. I have always enjoyed providing Win-Win-Win situations to my clients. Solar Energy & Energy Efficiencies are the biggest Win-Win-Win imaginable.” My wife and I love to serve others and are active members at church. We love to play with our grandchildren, our Golden Doodle “Bella”, and traveling the country.
